Safety is always a matter of concern, whether you are crossing a road or operating heavy machinery. Most accidents occur due to the carelessness and haste, and can be avoided by employing appropriate safety measures.Mindrill pneumatic crawler drill is a high-quality Mindrill product that performs high power drilling and fetches high return on investment while also being safer & more ergonomic for the operator when compared to conventional handheld pneumatic jackhammers, but before operating the YODHA100 drill rig, one needs to implement certain safety measures.

Maintaining safety precautions can prevent personal injury, death, and damage to property. Everyone needs to first understand the fact that negligence of any of these safety precautions can lead to dangerous consequences. Given below are some important safety measures that every operator should follow while operating the YODHA100 crawler drilling rig:

Wear standard safety equipment like a hard hat, a pair of safety shoes, a set of safety glasses and noise-cancelling ear protection before beginning operation.
Always stand clear of the tracks and compressor.
Ensure all nuts and bolts are properly tightened and all hose connections are secure.
Keep the area clean to avoid falls.
Always attach the safety cable to the bull hose before supplying air to the machine.
Keep all limbs and clothing away from all moving parts including:

o   Hydraulic pump coupling
o   Tracks, rotating bit, coupling, and drill steel
o   Feed chain, feed chain pulleys, and track drive chains
o   Boom, drill guide, and oscillation tracks during repositioning

Always keep the warning labels clean and readable; replace worn-out labels.
Be sure to check that the main air valve is turned off and the air is bled from the system before opening the lubricator.
Always ensure that the compressor is attached properly to the tow hitch before towing the compressor.
Do not stand or walk between the drill rig and the compressor while tramming
Do not use the YODHA100 Crawler Drill to tow a compressor over rough terrain, it is better to use a bulldozer for such purpose.
If drilling in rock with hard silica content, make sure to use the optional dust control system.
Never keep a detached drill guide in an upright position. Always lay a detached drill guide on a suitable bed horizontally.
Keep the drilling rig properly lubricated and well-maintained.
